The N.E.W. Program Support Groups

Our Support Groups for post-operative patients are a great way for you to connect with other post-op bariatric surgery patients. Research and our years of experience in surgical weight loss demonstrate that bariatric surgical patients who regularly attend support group meetings are more successful with their weight loss and adjustments than patients who do not. This finding is particularly shown to be true for long term weight loss goals and lifestyle changes.

As you are aware, the challenges faced by bariatric surgery patients are unique, and our experts are here to help you. Support group meetings not only provide expert support but peer support from others who have undergone bariatric surgery. Many of our Support Group members find it an excellent vehicle to share experiences and be reassured that you are progressing!
