Nutritional Guidelines for Surgical Weight Loss Patients
The forms included in this section are designed by The N.E.W. Program's experts to help our bariatric surgery patients achieve maximum improvement in their quality of life. We have found that, when patients follow our recommendations, that they almost invariably see weight loss, improvemnt in their health but enjoy a dramatic improvement in quality of life after surgery.
We have also found that, although food and eating plays a more balanced role in their lives, our patients often feel more enjoyment with eating after surgery than they did before surgery. This is sometimes due to changes in food preferences, a generally healthier and more rewarding diet, lack of guilt when eating food or simply elimination of what we call "the diet and self-persecution mentality." The downloadable forms below are designed to help post-surgical patients achieve these results.
