The N.E.W. Program has one of the lowest complication rates in the country for bariatric surgery.  Our surgeons have formal, specialized training, are highly skilled and have a phenomenal track record after performing more than 2,000 minimally invasive surgeries for weight loss.

The advanced techniques used by The N.E.W. Program surgeons are difficult to learn and require extensive expertise.  It is one of the most complex intestinal surgeries being performed today and should only be performed by surgeons with considerable skill and experience.  The N.E.W. Program, as the first dedicated laparoscopic bariatric surgery program in Orange County, has performed well over 2,000 laparoscopic weight loss surgeries on patients ranging from 200 to over 600 pounds, and from teens to seniors.
